Community-Based Archives: Considering the Power of Naming Practices

This Early Career Development Research Project will examine naming practices across a range of community-based archives – from those embedded in an university to those operating autonomously. Over three years (2019-2022), Jamie A. Lee (PI) and her research team will work to better address community-based archives through distinct archival appraisal and description practices expanding archival studies more broadly.
